Yilan Chen Residence – Stair Lift

For this installation, there are two stairlift locations: an outdoor courtyard staircase and an indoor regular staircase.
Outdoors, the biggest concern is prolonged exposure to wind, rain, or sunlight, which can damage household items or equipment. Therefore, the outdoor stairlift must use a main unit track and base made entirely of stainless steel to withstand harsh weather conditions. (Note: The parking and charging area still requires a covered space to protect the charging operation and ensure durability.)
At the outdoor courtyard endpoint, the unit conveniently folds up against the door frame. When folded, the seat does not obstruct entry or exit at all.
Indoors, for the sake of convenient storage and to avoid obstruction, a 180-degree turn is installed at the starting point. The main difference from the outdoor installation is the base, which is made of carbon steel with white paint. Although there is no rain indoors, for long-term ease of maintenance, stainless steel bases are still recommended to reduce the risk of paint chipping or rust caused by external impacts.
Our exclusive solid stainless steel track, designed and bent precisely by our engineers, allows the track to fit closely to the handrail!
