Compared to straight rails, curved rails are far more complex to manufacture. To keep the rail as close to the handrail as possible, we use solid stainless steel. This ensures durability, prevents deformation, and allows the gear rack and rail to be produced as a single integrated piece. With precise engineering, the handrail and the curved stair-lift rail fit extremely closely, effectively saving valuable stairway space.
Regarding the close fit and material quality mentioned above, while the inherent design gives a significant advantage, the planning and execution by engineers on-site is equally critical. Therefore, when comparing costs and installation of different stair-lift systems, assessments should always be based on on-site evaluations by professional engineers.
