Customized Stair Accessibility Solution – Tackling a Narrow Staircase Challenge
This installation features TENGCHENG’s curved-rail stairlift, specially designed to hug the wall even in extremely tight stairwells. Two key reasons make this possible:
- Solid stainless steel rails allow for a tighter turning radius.
- Precision engineering and measurement by our technicians ensure the rail stays close to the wall or handrail without collision.
The Lü family’s staircase is exceptionally narrow. Even after installation, the user must sit sideways (with the backrest positioned to the side) to prevent their knees from hitting the wall.
To meet multifunctional needs, our stairlift is constructed entirely from stainless steel. The footrest can support up to 80 kg of weight.
Operation is simple and flexible:
- Use the armrest control button (for the seated user), or
- Use the remote control (accessible to anyone nearby).
This means you don’t have to be seated to operate it.
The fully enclosed armrest not only enhances safety during use but also includes a safety interlock—the lift won’t operate unless the armrest is properly secured.
